I think Simler might be the site I've been waiting for. I love the clean look and the cute monkey. Also love the idea of meeting new people based on similar tags. Am I wrong or is this like Stumble Upon without the website likes/dislikes? What I really don't get about Simler so far is why all the profiles with tags for every word in the English language? Every time I get excited to see a profile with a handful of similar interests, I am bummed to see that there is no coincidence, they just happen to be interested in EVERYTHING. Throwing out a few feature requests: I would really like to be able to hide and delete conversations from my stream and the ability to pin a conversation.

For instance, Scott's iPhone post is cool, but takes up a lot of vertical space. I would like to be able to hide it, so I can still get updates but can also see other conversations.

Deleting is pretty self evident: there are some conversations I'm never going to be interested in. I'd like to be able to remove them completely to free up space for other conversations.

Finally, if there is a conversation I'm really interested in, I'd like to be able to "pin" it somewhere so I can easily get back to it. It could either always stay in my stream or it could show up in a new tab next to Home, My Tags, etc (or, more likely, you could do something really awesome with it :). 21 hours, 50 minutes ago

It's the one thing I can't go a day without looking at. Everyone here is so nice, and they know each other. It's so much better than myspace or facebook, especially twitter. I'm glad I found this site, and I don't plan on leaving. Well, unless you want me to. XD

The monkeys were busy over the weekend and today fixing bugs and adding some enhancements, so please take a look around and let us know what you think!

Some highlights: 1) now display title and description (if available) for embedded media, 2) much improved pagination on home streams and tag detail pages, 3) an easier way for us to remove spam and other inappropriate posts, and 4) some speed enhancements. It's going to take a little bit of time to repopulate the cache but once it does we will be blazing again.
