Rode Brighton on Sunday, talk about epic conditions! Great snow, great weather, not too many people. Not to mention I was riding better than I have all season.
I had a blast, but my body is mad at me today. Sooo worth it.

Am I the only one super disappointed by the snow conditions this year in Utah? At least it's snowing right now, it can only get better from here... 1 month, 2 weeks ago
Wore a helmet for the first time last weekend. Increased my confidence and speed overall. Helmet every time from now on. Hoping we get some good storms in March. March riding is my favorite... days you can sit on a sunny resort deck and have a beer, then hit the slopes again in a light weight jacket or hoodie. love it. 5 days, 14 hours ago
Went snowboarding at Big Bear CA on Friday, and I am so excited to say that I am FINALLY getting it! I had such a blast... a couple of bruises and a lot of sore muscles, but totally worth it! :) 2 weeks, 1 day ago
was pretty fun @ brighton today...even the snow came out a little this afternoon... 2 weeks, 2 days ago
if there's ever been a good reason to patronize big oil - shell is running a deal in CA were if you pump 10 gallons you get a 2-for-1 voucher at northstar and sierra-at-tahoe - assuming you use the voucher, shell is pretty much paying you to fill-up, sweet deal 3 weeks, 4 days ago
Warren Miller Dynasty was SOLD OUT here in Chicago. I missed it in Utah and then got excited to see there was a venue playing it here before I had to fly back to Utah. Eh, maybe I can get tickets to it this weekend. Maybe I'll just watch netflix streaming instead. 4 months, 1 week ago
ok ok...i spent, i kid you not, three hours on the interweb last night looking for gear to resemble the clothing worn by soldiers on planet Hoth in Star Wars: Empire Strikes Back! Quilted headwear, fighter goggles, warm scarf thingy, industrial looking jacket...you know....
it looks like i'm just going to have to settle for this - which is not snowboarding friendly. but funny.

Re: Need a Helmet
Now I need a good helmet to protect my noggin. I have never worn a helmet snowboarding before, so I really have no idea what I should get. I want protection, as much style as you can get with a helmet, and audio capabilities.
Can anyone steer me in the right direction?

Who's got the best deal on a season pass??
I usually ride Park City, but I'm thinking Snowbird or The Canyons this season.
ALSO, I'm looking for a new board that is light weight, all terrain, some flex...just good for cruising mostly. Suggestions?

I'm buying my season pass for Snowbird tomorrow. The Young Adult chairs only pass is only $539!! 4 months, 2 weeks ago

Anyone know of any snowboarding close to the midwest?? Recently relocated out here and it is a land of flatness!!! 5 months, 2 weeks ago
Soo, I'm from Europe and I'm currently staying in NYC for a few months.. But I really miss snowboarding, so is there anywhere you would recommend me going to have some fun while being over here? Going home in the middle of December so don't know if there will be anywhere with good conditions by then.. ;) 5 months ago
Alright, I gotta know: I've realized that Vision is more of a name than an actual brand at this point, and their boards are terrible. I didn't know that when I bought my first board, and still have my damn first board.
I'm looking for a park board that can take a decent hill at a reasonable speed.
Suggestions?
Also, supposedly Mt. Bachelor has some sick runs, but I have yet to hit it up, and I'm getting sick of Meadows and Ski Bowl. Where might one find the gnarliest slopes in Oregon?
