I recently watched a full episode of The Next Generation and I thought to myself man, it must suck to be on the crew of this ship. The command does whatever the hell they want to follow the storyline ie. travel to the Klingon council so that Worf can stand up for his family honor. I mean not even an announcement to the rest of the crew before "engage."
