    MacVim

Yeah, it's an editor. Yeah, I'm talking about it on Simler on a Saturday morning.

    Yeah, I kinda suck.

Any MacVim wizards out there? Good, cuz I have an issue that I'm trying to work out.

I'm tired of setting up this editor every time I want to work on a CodeIgniter site: model/view/controller code in separate tabs, and each is running NERDTree on the side. Saving/restoring Vim sessions doesn't restore all of the above like I think it should, NERDTree in particular. Inclusion of all sessionoptions doesn't help.

    Argh?

If anyone knows where I can find info on making this work, I'd love to hear about it.

    Thanks!

    Ute Fans!

Did I hear that Utah is going to play UO this weekend? I'm so behind.

If so, I'm going to kick myself for not prodding Duck fans in my office. Squandered opportunities... 5 months, 3 weeks ago

    AIGA Portland

Portland design peeps! In case you're wondering what to do tonight, AIGA Portland and 52 Limited are presenting Designspeaks with Jelly Helm @ The Ace tonight from 7-9.

Designspeaks is a (roughly) quarterly event that focuses on design and designers in the Pacific northwest. Past presenters have included Modern Dog, Andrea Marks, and Byron Ferris (dude practically invented the Portland design scene). It's an awesome, intimate event in a really cool space (The Cleaners), so come on down, sip some wine, laugh with Jelly, in that order. You won't want to miss this, trust me.

Details can be found here: portland.aiga.org

(Advance registration has ended so it's now a pay-at-the-door event. Just an FYI.) 5 months, 3 weeks ago
